With 20 years of experience in the aluminium industry as a qualified joiner, my main expertise is in windows and doors, but my skill set extends well beyond that. Based in Papakura, I provide handyman services across the entire South Auckland region, tackling jobs of all sizes.
What I love about being a handyman is the variety of work and being able to help with virtually any home improvement need. As I like to say, if it’s broken, I can fix it, and if I can’t fix it, I’ll replace it.
Recently, I’ve tackled everything from installing a curtain pole to sourcing and fitting vintage door locks for some heritage homes. The property owner wanted to replace some of the old vintage locks, and I was able to research and buy replacements – even though they were over 100 years old! One of my more recent projects involved upgrading a dangerous balcony to meet current height and safety requirements.
No job is too varied – I might start my day replacing a rotted gate (making sure it matches the original perfectly) and end the day by repairing walls or fixing window latches. I also have experience with fencing repairs and general property maintenance. If a job requires specialised electrical or plumbing work, I have a network of certified professionals I can bring in to ensure everything is done safely and to code.
